PlottingThe Drawpoint Plot Server provides centralised, fast plot capability for transmittals and more
Drawpoint integrates a versatile Plot Server to handle all batch plot operations during and outside of transmittals. The Plot Server uses an AutoCAD installation to provide plotting capability to all computer, even ones without AutoCAD installed.

This system enables rapid plotting along with centralised templates to result in consistent plots across projects. To view a video of the Plot Server in operation, click on the link below:

PDF Conversions
As the most widely used format for drawing transmittals, the PDF files is vital for issuing drawings. The process of converting drawings to PDF however is cumbersome, especially for larger project. Drawpoint handles this task without the need of AutoCAD so you can continue your work uninterrupted. The use of genuine AutoCAD software means that the PDFs will always be identical to those generated from AutoCAD itself.

eTransmit Packaging
DWG files with mutliple external references (xRefs) can be cumbersome to package. Drawpoint supports packaging multiple drawings into a single zip file along with all their references and required files. This operation is identical to the AutoCAD eTransmit command. Drawpoint can also bind all xRefs and convert drawings to older versions of AutoCAD to suit specific clients.

Hardcopy Printing
Whether for an internal markup, meeting or a hardcopy transmittal, printing multiple files can take up large amounts of time. Drawpoint can batch plot multiple files to any available local or network printer, freeing you up for more important things.

Familiar Options
Becase Drawpoint uses AutoCAD plotting systems, all the main familiar settings involved in plotting through AutoCAD are available as user-defined templates. These include plot styles, areas, orientation, scale and more.

Multiple Layouts

Drawpoint can also handle multiple layout drawings. Each layout of a DWG file will be separately indexed and treated as a independent drawing. Each layout can then be individually converted, plotted or transmitted. The supersede tool also allows multi tab files to be split into separate files with ease.

Drawpoint can convert DWG files to the following formats (during or outside transmittals)

Benefits for youHow does the integrated plot engine save you time?
The plot system serves not only as a standalone tool, but as part of the transmittal system. Coupled together, and using the batch plotting mechanics and multi-layout support, the plot system is an indispensable tool especially in large projects. The use of AutoCAD plotting mechanisms ensures that the quality and integrity of the content is preserved, while the batch plotting ability allows unsupervised printing, converting or binding of large numbers of drawings.

Networked based profiles allow you to create standard plotting options in your office to ensure a standard output and maintain consistency. These features allow the Drawpoint plotting system to save time and reduce frustration.
